Black Rhino Creative (BRC) is a documentary film production company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional storytelling. With a passion for finding the human spirit in every piece, we have created and screened award winning content for broadcasters such as CBC, Telus Optik, Knowledge Network, AMI, SBS Australia, and Air Canada.

Our recent film, Nude to Me, is an official selection at the 2021 Hot Docs Film Festival and will air on CBC Gem. Past achievements include a six-part Indigenous food and travel series named Red Chef Revival, currently being distributed internationally by Marble Media, which earned BRC a Leo Award for Best Direction. The series also received a 2020 Golden Sheaf Award, the 2019 Best Doc Series of the year by Doc Weekly and was a 2020 Webby Awards Honoree. The BRC team is presently in production of their first feature length documentary film named Outside In, which explores the science of healthy home design.
